I can’t follow all the high level thinking in this thread, but wouldn’t the silly back and forth stop if you just stopped? is having the last word winning? That’s all I got, except it’s nice to see you toss in a meme or gif here and there.

I have stopped. Repeatedly. I have never gotten the last word with these kids. Nor do I really care to. They've been rehashing the same old argument for what feels like years now.

I’ve repeatedly stopped several bad habits in my lifetime. My therapist says repeatedly stopping…isn’t.

Wait so I can't reply to anything or it's "starting it back up"? In that post I made no references to past conversations with anyone nor was I aggressive in tone. In fact, we both continued a very civil discussion on the topic until post #60 where it was actually Ratbert that pulled us into old arguments.

I'm happy to discuss the subject of the thread like an adult with anyone who chooses to act like an adult. Remorseless often does, and it usually goes well until he feels he no longer has the clear upper hand...then either he or one of his buddies starts in with past disagreements.

The problem with this claim is that what you call "changing the meaning of words or disagreeing with my own previous posts" is just you trying to change my statement into something you can disprove. You and your buddies do this constantly. You (meaning you or one of them) did it in the 2024 prediction thread (all over the meaning of the term "refresh"), you did it in the power loss at altitude thread (tried to turn "I think it's overblown" into "the facts are wrong")...it's been done in just about every time we end up here - I make a statement that you disagree with, and then when you are unable to objectively disprove what I said you try to change what I said into something you CAN objectively disprove.
