I can't remember if anyone in our wheeling group here has a Midland MTX275 besides me. I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue with mine and need someone else's corded mic to see if the issue is my mic or the radio unit itself.

Anyone one else have one I can try on whatever next run happens?

Without you saying anything, I’m guessing the issue is other people think your radio is super quiet?
That’s because everyone else uses wide band Chinese radios and Midlands are narrowband. Sound fine to other midlands but quiet to the Chinese radios.

More explanation of the issue is here in this thread.

My voice was not coming through at all. Sometimes working, sometimes not. Did some troubleshooting and cleaned the connectors. I'll swap out the mic for this new one when it arrives and see if that helps.

She definitely went super quiet when we were in AZ on Sunday but everything was fine Saturday for 8+ hours and every other time I wheeled with her so don't think it was just wide vs narrow band.

I can’t keep up with all your threadsšŸ˜‚
When we went to Fissure Mountain Steve and I just thought you were really low volume, but I don’t remember thinking it was cutting out at all then.

Ha yeah my Jeep has all sorts of problems.

Overall I am usually more quiet than others because I leave my handset up on the molle panel. This issue was different though. You could hear me click on but no voice at all.
