Michigan Trails Guide

Hey guys,

I was browsing Amazon and found what looks to be an amazing series of guide from Charles A Wells.

Too bad he doesn't have one on Michigan. Anyone know of a good guidebook for MI?

I might write one on how to navigate around the pot holes on Mound Rd...but I am not aware of any guide books?

I often lead trail rides as the guide in Michigan. There are tons of seasonal roads and trails to explore, There are no real hard trails in Michigan. There are places you can get stuck, and sure Drummond Island has about 30 feet of a rock/ ledge climb, but most trails can be easily done with a stock Jeep and a little bit of common sense. If you want to learn where to go, the DNR web site has plenty of maps.

The best way though is to join an active Jeep club and start going with them Jeeping. Facebook has a ton of Michigan Jeep club pages.
