Good trails in Michigan

I think Im going to do this trail Labor Day weekend and camp somewhere in the area for a couple days. From what I can find, the sand appears the most likely way of getting stuck. I still don't have a winch so do you think its necessary to grab some recovery boards? Ill be solo'ing it this time so gotta be a bit more cautious.

You will not have a problem of getting stuck. If you are worried about it, just air down to 12 psi. I have never had a problem getting stuck and have ran this trail for 20+ years. There are all kinds of places to camp.

Went to tin cup springs and I'd say me and Kozie had a good time

Tin Cup is a decent place to wheel. We will be wheeling there the first week or so in December.

Went to Rocks and Valleys in Harrison, MI. Much less muddy than last time, got hung up on the concrete ramp and the rest of my group had to bounce me off that circular crossmember.

There was a guy with what
looked like a JK8, truck was named “BIG IRON”. Awesome machine, anyone know him or details on his Jeep?
