Michigan Area Soft Top Only

Has anyone ordered a JL with just the soft top for Michigan or the surrounding states? Same with people who might’ve had the soft top for the JK. I’m debating whether to go hard top or if soft top would be enough. Not interested in having to remove and store the hard top every time and think the soft top would be more convenient. Any input would be appreciated!
