Hey all, had an idea for a really basic mesh half door and wondering if anyone's seen anything like it.
I'm driving a doorless JLU and I frequently keep the back seats down for carrying bigger things like surfboards. I can fit a shortboard in the tub diagonally, but I don't like having the rear doors wide open when I'm doing that and usually have to strap the board down. For smaller stuff I fold the back seats up to keep it away from those.
I'd love to not worry about this and use the back with the seats folded down more like a truck bed, and all I think I'd really need is a soft covering over the rear doors to keep stuff in. I've seen plenty of tube doors with mesh netting, but I haven't found one that's just the mesh without the tubing. Since it's for cargo, easy opening doesn't really matter, something that straps onto the pillars with velcro would do just fine. I'm picturing something at half door height.
