OK, I feel like an idiot, but I cannot figure out how to get the max tracks mounted on the back of this rack. There’s these weird screw bolt things that go somewhere and I am totally stumped. Anybody having this problem besides me anybody have some insights let me know thanks.

Do you have the maxtrax brackets and pins? Looks like all you need is to install the Maxtrax pins and you’re all set.

Yes, I have the pins and everything, but I can’t make sense of how it’s supposed to fit together. It seems like the threaded end is a lot longer than it needs to be.

Maxtrax has two versions of their pins. One has longer threads to mount through roof rack bars. The other version has a shorter threaded area.

Edited to add there are more than two versions now I guess.
