Manual transmission recall

The recall states that “the clutch pressure plate may fracture”. What if I get the manual and replace it with aftermarket one or something better. Will it change result?

PS I don’t know much about fixing manual transmission, but with a publication or online instruction, replace part on a car shouldn’t be as hard as fixing chopper.
