Question. I was off road in 4 wheel part time...I shifted to m2... With the paddle shifter... And the Jeep kept shifting back to automatic on it's own when I got on it hard Is this normal?

Yes, it's a safety feature so you don't trash the motor/tranny. Pretty sure there is a blurb about it in the owner's manual.

Manual shift mode for automatics generally shift for you once you leave the pre-approved RPM range for your gear. If you want to manually shift beyond holding gears on a downhill while towing then get a manual (while you still can).
