I have a new 2-door RubiX.
It has OEM headliners. I have tried sticking patches to them with velcro, but they absolutely will not stick to the headliner. Im wondering if the material is different than the non-OEM brands where people are successful with this?
Anyways, those of you with the OEM headliners and are adding patches, how are you making them stick? I don't want to ruin the fabric - but I have tried pretty hard to force the stick to no avail.:swear:

This is my only solution for now. Velcro strips along the white part.

I don't think it's mangled the fabric yet, but I have a few patches stuck to mine. I put them where I wanted them then gently rubbed them in a circular motion to get the hooks to catch. Only one of them has fallen off so far and I just put it back.

None. And this is my 4th Jeep and I don't go to the malls LOL ;)
I think I may have recently visited my last mall ever. I genuinely just dont like going even if the crawling scene is Grade A. Lotta walking for one or two stores that I might want to see. Malls are dying guys and I dont know where Im gonna crawl now without getting my tires dirty.

Folks that stick patches to it generally have hot head headliners installed.

The only patches I've added so far weren't velcro-backed, so I opted for some fabric tape. I found one that claims to be water resistant, temperature stable, and not permanent. It's held my patches to the headliner and fiberglass for a few days without issue, but I haven't tried to take them off yet. I don't know if it will cause damage later on, but I'm not too worried about that.

The tape I used is: Plantional Double-Sided Sticky Fabric Tape

Just curious, why you move back to Texas from Colorado?

Not that there's anything wrong with that, Texas is obviously the best state in the country!!

I agree :D
My husband was in the military and we started off here - then got sent to Alaska then eventually to Colorado where we stayed for far too long - then fled back here when his job was able to send us back on their $, back to family. Down here in Rockwall County.

Just two pieces of heavy duty Velcro one to liner one to patch…same oem liner on my 23’ same issue…..they don’t fall doing this.

I've begun crawling in the parking lot of our local Amazon distribution center... it's not bad... :)
