Aftermarket antenna recommendations?

Does anyone have a recommendation for an aftermarket antenna? I don't like the way the OEM one looks and thought that there must be something out there that is equally effective but is perhaps shorter/stubbier and more 'rubbery'.

A few guys along with myself have gone with the AntennaX 24" CB Style.

AM/FM Radio reception hit/loss is minimal with this antenna. Easily installs on the JL.

I have used this same AntennaX antenna on JK's for years. Quality antenna that weathers well, etc..

Seconded on the 24" antenna x. It's been solid for me.

TheAntennaSource.com is where I got mine. I bought the 1A in a 21" black. Works great. I like that it's tapered...thicker on the bottom and thinner on top.

Not personally, but I've heard good things. Plus, they will take it back if you're not completely satisfied. Their information state that it's as good as 19" standard mast.

Yes, I read that. I am likely going to give it a shot. I rarely, if ever, listen to terrestrial radio anyway so it is mostly for the look and durability....but I'd want it to function at the same time in case I ever wanted to listen to FM or, god help me, AM, again.
