I've spun the rears, unintentionally, when (a) wanting to pull out quickly from an intersection with reduced cross-traffic visibility while (b) also on a shakedown drive after installing a throttle controller. If I want to do a burnout I have other cars for that. I don't think my jeep has ever turned a tire over more than maybe a quarter rev.
The controller was set to Cruise +6, which was neither the dullest nor the most aggressive programming. I was a bit startled at the power delivery, but my right foot was also functioning via muscle memory. Anyway, the point of a shakedown is to get the new lay of the land, so I filed it under Mission Accomplished. ?
I purchased them because they were on sale. After seeing how they made filling the differentials (particularly the front) easier and faster by an order of magnitude, they'll be my sole purchase from now on.Been a tech for a lot of years, and I'm sold on the gear oil pouches. I love that if the access is poor, you can bend them around the obstacles and still fill without making a mess.
