Hello y’all!!

I may be new to your group after renting a Jeep Sahara. I know a Rubicon won’t ride as nice.

Currently also have in our stable a ‘25 RHO, ‘23 MX-5, ‘19 Jeep GC and ‘66 Mustang GT.

The Jeep server won’t let me spec it with a Turbo4 but reached out to a few dealers on here to see if they can.

Would love any suggestions or recommendations.

B&P just let me spec a Rubi T-4 auto 35” pkg. ….. Unless I’m reading it wrong the heavy steel hood is now a $795 “Option” , that is required, therefore not an “Option” ?

Yes it forced the hood on me as well.

Ditch the Trail Rated Kit, Door Sill Guards and all other OEM accessories for that matter. They're a rip off. Aftermarket has as good or better quality for much less than OEM. Don't get dealer tunnel vision and forget the aftermarket, there are tons of high quality options there.

The main difference between the Rubicon and Sahara ride is the larger more aggressive tires. It's not that different otherwise.

Since you're getting the Rubicon...
If you plan on going off-road, you may want to avoid body color fender flares. The rear fenders will inevitably get dinged by rocks thrown from the front tires, the front will get pinstriping from branches. Black fenders are much better at hiding it. I also think the White & Black looks good. But that's me, you do you. Some love their body colored fenders.

Also know that the "Build & Price" on the Jeep website is designed for searching lot inventory, not custom orders. You'll need to talk to a dealer to know what you currently can and cannot order, which will likely be a little different from the "Build & Price" options which tends to lag behind.

That’s what I needed to hear..I’ll still roll with the body colored fenders but appreciate the input on the other stuff.

I’ll see tomorrow what can be ordered and how.

Then you shouldn’t be charged for the unwanted “Option”. .. I don’t think they charged for them when they first started substituting them for the aluminum ones…..
Anyway, it appears you can get the T-4 if you want.
Do ditch the little crap you can add later like the sill guards. When I ordered mine the all weather mats were back ordered and holding up the builds with them.
