Any quality primer for steel.
As for paint, you can get spray cans on Amazon of most colors that are a 2 part enamel. It will have an inner capsule in the can to puncture & then shake thoroughly. This paint is almost(almost) indestructible.
I was about to say how Amazon probably won’t ship spray paint to Hawaii, but I was half right. At a quick glance, Amazon won’t (so no prime), but some on their marketplace will—including the two-part epoxy paint.

Nothing says Pavement Princess quite like ridiculous paint jobs on parts that would otherwise receive trail damage.
I bet you would change your mind if I told you they come in….gold…with sparkles…color matched to curtain rod flares

just have a shop do it. Amateur level prep work usually ends up flaking and peeling, then rusting. You spent $40k+ on the Jeep. Spend another $200 - $300 to get it done right. Prep work is not easy, nor is color matching.

Eh, you have to paint the sliders some color. On my WJ I sprayed them black and then beat the hell out of them. What does it matter if the paint color was blue instead? Costs the same amount, takes the same amount of effort to spray and respray.

Pavement Princess or not, there are some rides I would not ride to my grave in. Some time in the past my wonderful wife thought that she wanted a Subaru. When I saw the options I kindly told her that we weren’t 85 year old & blue haired yet & we were not owning a station wagon.
I have single daughter & if a guy pulled down my driveway with certain mods on their ride, they wouldn’t even get the opportunity to get out of their vehicle.
How you dress &/or mod your vehicle etc speaks volumes about your personality & lifestyle.
I know it’s my opinion but isn’t that what we are all entitled to? 🤷‍♂️

I don't disagree. I've been meaning to take the metal bristle brush my side steps / rock rails and put another coating of black paint on there. They're starting to rust a little bit with all the rocks I'd like to drag them over and drop them on.
