LOD contacted me and there replacing the bumper. Like I said I wasn't here to bash them and a lot of companies don't care after the sale. I'm super happy with the design and build of the bump.

Honestly I believe our quality and customer service has improved 10 fold over the last few years... Nothing is perfect, and powder coating is far from an exact manufacturing process. So sometimes a product doesn't get a complete coat and will start to rust after a short time, this happens and we take care of it. It is not every product, not every customer, and no this doesn't happen all the time.

For small spots near the welds, we suggest Rustoleum touch up paint which is really effective. but if its bad then we replace the bumper. Small spots in corners and at welds are almost impossible to catch during QC. You cant see them, they are not rusted, and the bumper is black therefor next to impossible to detect. Ideally our customers would reach out to us first and give us a chance and the time to resolve the issue.
This is everything. This is the kind of stuff you don't get with rugged ridge and smittybilt and other brands.

If I was to re-build my jeeps armor. I'd go LoD. Do you guys have any plans to release the signature series sliders for the JL 2 door?. I am going to be replacing my sliders soon. Destroyer are my first choice but if I could buy signature series I'd go with those.

This is how you do it @lodoffroad. Hoping I don't have problems w/ my destroyer rear bumper but glad to know you'll stand by your products if I do.

Yeah. And living the delusion that China makes crap doesnt help. They dont. They make good stuff for a lot less and have made us dependant on their manufacturing.

It is a systemic issue. And hoping that the consumer is going to take individual responsibility is not going to work out in the end.

We have to put pressure on our representatives to change this madness. China is evil.
I have worked in manufacturing my entire life and can tell you lots about China, after spending much time in China and supporting foreign manufactures in China:

1) They started off as being really basic manufacturing. We're talking archaic in world standards.

2) They quickly industrialized and became the "major capacity" of many for the low-tech manufacturing requirements.

3) They then started to copy what they were hired to manufacture and steal IP for local companies benefits. Very basic but rapidly evolving as they have zero shame to steal IP. Your chips are now our chips. Your code is now our code. Your fancy mechanical machine is now our fancy mechanical machine. It is amazing how quickly and how well they can clone a product - literally a week or two. Currently >20% of the Apple products sold in China are counterfeit - built on shadow lines in the same factories and just as good as legitimate product and sold in counterfeit Apple stores! The famous story of the pink iPhones is a good one - counterfeit products in a unique color that sold for more than a legitimate Apple product.

4) For things like Lithium batteries they own the worlds capacity as they do not care about green regulations or worker safety so they can work at a speed and cost nobody can compete with.

5) They now push the low end manufacturing our of the country to Taiwan and others to free up factory space for cloning products. More money in that. They only produce what they can copy and make money at to keep the economy running.

I personally love huge aspects of the culture and history but the CCP is a vulture picking away at the world. The people for the most part are just pawns in this game and have zero clue what's going on.

You want to bolt this stuff on your Jeep as too cheap to pay for Joe American to design and build it? That's your choice but realize by not supporting the local industries they will die, and are dying, and eventually you no longer have a choice because you helped China kill the competition.

This is not about putting pressure on our politicians -- it is about spending your dollars to not support the destruction of American manufacturing.
