out of curiosity. and these trying times. was hoping i could find a diamond in the rough. ideally, would of liked to find a jeep unlimited sport s 2020 on the lot so i would not have to wait. but if i could build it, how much of a fee should i expect, hypothetically(in california) and how much i could expect in discount currently in promotion? would be nice to find in a rubicon, but i aint rolling in the dough.

sent this to a dealer, and i was not certain if they are playing at my heart strings.

if i do a custom build, it would not apply with the "friends and family price" and it does not combine with the financing option of 0% for 36 mos(which i considered redonculous, especially at this time) or any other advertised special. with registration fees to about $600, which i find steep even for california. currently, on the Jeep site, they have the "employee pricing for all" which i figured was significantly better that the prior promo. so i am not sure if they are trying to bs me or i am just misinformed.

i used the finder on the builder to find one local with similar options so i didn't have to order , maybe try that ?

i did, but was missing 2 of the options at most. and the price was almost the same if not less. dealers were even sketch on lowering to compete. having the run around is tediously annoying.

I ran your build thru the configuration and Jeep is giving roughly 7.5% off MSRP out of the box, for you doing nothing except purchasing.

That’s a VERY good deal. When most of us purchased, this wasn’t available.

It a seems like you know what you want. Accept 8% to 12% off MSRP as a good deal, find a dealer that you like and put an order in. Or don’t.

Stop being greedy.

The sooner you realize that you get to pay what everyone else has paid, the better off you’ll be (less annoyed/frustrated) in taking the next steps to having the Wrangler that you want.

this is my first major payment +10k so i wanted to make sure i was in the clear. i will whether it is now or late get a jeep wrangler unlimited(sport s or rubicon) just wanted to dot my t's and cross my i's. having the dealer provide me with an invoice with the itemized adds/discounts without jumping around dealerships especially now. i rather do business all i can online and once that is done, go in/wait for it with payment. was not quite sure qhat i would be expecting on pricing but thank you for being helpful.
