So it happened once last week where I put the jeep in reverse trying to back into a spot. A whole bunch of lights switching off and on and cycling through different lights in the dash. Couldn’t go more than 20-23 mph on the dash when I was in drive.
it happened again the other day when going in reverse but putting it in P and turning it off and turning it back on seems to clear the issue.
I have a feeling the car is hot but just weird to experience in only reverse gear.
third time it happened and was in a parking lot trying to reverse in a spot and it completely died and I couldn’t turn the jeep off. I was able to put it in P but I couldn’t turn it off. I couldn’t shift it into R or D and after trying to turn it off and back on. The Run light on the push start was lit but wasn’t starting the car. I had to sit there for about 5 mins trying to turn it off and on and hoping to start the car since I was blocking traffic.
eventually it started and I was able to shift the car into R and get out of the way and into a spot.
I never experience this before and was wondering what people thought the root cause could be?
