Limited slip diff

I just got a 2018 sport and found out it has the m200, no big deal it seems like a fairly capable axle, but I want to put an lsd in it. However I can't find anyone who makes one, do yall know if anyone make one for the m200 or do I need to find an m220?

No sense putting money into an M200. It's a relatively weak axle. It'll handle stock tires on road just fine but not much more.

Find an M220 that someone is selling and swap it in.

And don't get a factory limited slip. That too has durability issues. Go for an aftermarket helical gear limited slip like a TrueTrac.

Nothing wrong with running the stock axle for a while. Save up and build it right.

Buy once, cry once.

I’d recommend you buy a used M220 narrow or wide so you have a D44 rear. Then dump money. If I end up near you (pending PCS orders) I’ll give my whiny 4.88 rear to you, lol. I’m waiting to move before buying a D60 semi-float.

Yea I've been looking at m220s all day and they are outrageously expensive imma have to save a few months before I get even a used one.

The non Rubicon M220s w/ LSD show up now & then in the for sale section here, I got a great deal on mine w/ brakes and driveshaft. You might even post a WTB (want to buy) ad in the for sale section, sometimes that's a good way to have someone contact you with something that's just collecting crickets in their shed.

As a “seller” I agree with @blnewt you should fish on WTB. I scrapped my front axle for free.99 because nobody wanted it.

Yea i just found a guy who is selling his jlu 44 for 800 but it's in Utah so I gotta find someone closer to me in Northern Virginia.
