Has anyone removed their stock back bumper and still have it laying around? Just looking for a few photos of what the license plate light set up looks like in there before I take mine apart. I’m thinking of going for a bit of an old school look with front and rear double tube bumpers. Trying to devise a way to light up the back plate first though. Wondering if I can fabricate something that will utilize the existing wiring/light out of the stock bumper. Any ideas out there?

thanks! That’s exactly what I was looking for! And looking at that, it doesn’t seem like it would’ve a big deal at all to create a bracket to attach that light to one of the license plate brackets at all! When I get it all figured out and built, I’ll post some photos on here with the whole build process as well. Thanks for your help!

Nooooo. Please let tube bumpers die the death that they should have had in the 90’s. It’s America and I’m glad we all have choices and different tastes, but ewwww. ;)

ha! Was thinking more like the tube bumpers I had back on my ‘83. Not a huge fan of many of the beast bumpers out there these days. Most just look like a pile of collapsed building strapped to the front of a Jeep. :CWL:

I was being nice by letting them have 2 decades. 4 is WAY too many. I agree with you on the Fab Fours/angry grill abominations that some people think are cool.
