yeah I’m pretty sure I already know the answer this but I thought I’d run it by you guys so if I use the heavier wire 40 A, I could probably hook up two or even three sets of low draw and lights to that single switch and I correct in that or would I be insulting the electrical gods of Jeep? And hence suffering the consequences.

In theory, the only problem with overloading a factory AUX Switch Amp rating is blowing the fuse.

So, you can add as many individual devices as you like to the wire, and wait for the JL gods' judgement.

You can combine as many loads as you want to equal up to 40-amps, however you'll want to make sure each individual load is fused according to their individual max current draw/wire size.

Well, 40A on Aux 1 & 2. 15A on Aux 3 & 4.

Our JKUR with an MLC-6 has more lights than switches. Most of them (with the exception of the 52" lightbar) are running 2 or 3 different lights per switch. I plan on upgrading to a wireless 12-switch setup and some point, but it's been working as-is for years.
