...another vote for the M.O.R.E. dead pedal...
#1...it just works....
#2... it doesn't go all the way to the floor... letting you get your foot under it on long drives, and making the floor mats a lot easier to empty (really important!)
#3.. support small business , and buy American because you are one! ...

...and buy a M.O.R.E. fire extinguisher bracket!... you need one, and see #3...

Like your enthusiasm but MORE pedal in Canada over $100, versus $30 for the exact same knockoff... Well...

Another vote for the M.O.R.E. I installed one in my Gladiator a couple weeks ago and will be getting another for the Wrangler, if it ever gets built.

Just in case you end up ordering the one from Quadratec, I placed an order for one the first week of October and I am still waiting for it. So hope you're not in a hurry.
Just as a quick update. I talked to someone over at Quadratec this morning, they still don't have an estimated delivery and there are over 500 on back order.

The one I ordered last week on Amazon shipped from Quadratec the next day. It'll be here Friday (Fucking Fedex).

ETA: They raised the price, but it says there are still 10 in stock.

ETA: Just realized you may have been talking about the quadratec-branded one. I ordered the M.O.R.E.

Note: Apparently no manufactured dead pedals easily fit (or fit at all for most) into a 4xe.

I have a JLR 3.6 eTorque. I am leaning towards the pedal from Quadratec but I don't like the idea of them nickle and dimming for the $10 for rubber pad. Their dead pedal is already more expensive then most.
I think you should be more worried about it not shipping in a timely manner from quadratec.

The problem is the extra molding around the bolt in the firewall. I bought these from bolt depot and was able to install the one I mentioned in my last reply.

Looks like I have plenty of time to think about it.
I got tired of waiting so I got the Hooke Road dead pedal via Amazon. I cancelled my Quadratec order, but the email sent back was that cancellation might not be possible since it was being readied for shipment. Hummmm

Good info - the Purchasing goons over there are not updating their lead times. Website today still shows dead pedal w/o pad ships 2/7, pad only ships 2/16, pedal with pad ships 3/3. Sounds like Jeeper bait.

I have the RedRock dead pedal. It's strong and doesn't bend but does flex a bit. Not as hard to install as some indicate. You just have to put it in, get it at the position you want then tighten the outside bolts enough to hold the angles, take it back off the main mounting bolt, crank all bolts down securely, then put it back on the single mounting bolt and crank it down.

No no he's not dead, he's, he's restin'! Remarkable bird, the Norwegian Blue, idn'it, ay? Beautiful plumage!

I got the Hooke one from Amazon mentioned earlier. Very easy install even if you aren't small or young. I am very happy with it. Makes my 50 commute to work a lot more comfortable. I can see where someone taller/with longer legs may have the opposite experience though.
