Hey all,

My front left dash and tweeter speaker have been out for a while now, no other issues. Decided to dive in hoping it was a loose wire with no such luck.

Used multimeter to test and found no issues with the speakers.
Swapped both speakers to the right side and worked fine.
Checked all connections on speaker and head unit, found no apparent damage.
and yes, fade is set correctly (somebody would have said it!)

Also, from this amazing post, I was able to see wire 46 is positive and 51 is negative off the wiring harness to help troubleshoot. Unfortunately, I am not getting a read at the ends. I'm thinking that might be my issue. I believe the tweeter and dash speaker are wired in parallel.

Is there a splitter or junction box where the alpine amp would have been?

What am I missing?

setup:
2021
7 inch uconnect, nothing alpine
Infinity REF-9633IX Reference 6x9 soundbar
Infinity REF3022CFX 3.5" 75W tweeter
New Infinity Kappa 62IX 6.5" dash
Speakers purchases March 2023

So apparently I didn't see this and was not mentioned in many speaker upgrade posts, and I wanted to update anyone else upgrading speakers. Read the link above to the post.

If you replace your speakers you need resistors. Mine lasted almost 2 years before it became an issue and only in 1 corner so far.

Ordered them off of Amazon for about a cup of coffee for 10 of them. Will update shortly.

Where and how did you guys install yours? I believe it's 1 per speaker. Fronts count as one as they are in parallel.

**Update** Resistor wasn't my problem, unless it magically starts working tomorrow? Back to the drawing board.

I'm running into same issue after adding an LOC for an amp. Almost bought resistors til I saw this...
Any luck on getting the other side to work?

These worked for me and my issue- 7" stock radio adding LOC and amp and getting only 1 side of sound-
Added one per channel before the LOC
