LED Tail Light connector broken, repair options?

I had a LED tail light that is not working so I pulled it off to investigate and discovered the problem. The connector has broken off the board. It appears that there is no damage to the board and the connector could be soldered back on.

The problem is getting access to try to solder this connection. I may have to cut the light open to access the board.

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with repairing a similar problem?
