Hola!

I have a 2021 JLU with Halo LED headlights. I do not however have the lighting package.

I love how the Halos look and honestly in Arizona it’s better to have them on all the time.

I did check the owners manual but I’m not really sure which setting I should use to keep the Halos on while driving, especially when I’m up in the mountains where we have some blind curves.

Normally I keep the headlights on Auto but being that it’s Auto if it’s super bright, no lights at all come on.

thanks!

Iirc, the Halo light should come on as soon as the engine is started and once the emergency brake is off (might be why you don't see them when parked). Think there might also be a preference in the settings of your uConnect stereo if equipped.

However, the parking lights (front and rear) will not come on during the day when the headlights are turned to "auto", which is just dumb imo. Thought it'd be neat to have auto lights, but during the day, I drive with the park lights on (2nd notch) and full headlights on at night (3rd notch).

What brand/model headlight? If Auto on the switch doesn’t light the DRL then they aren’t wired properly or aren’t designed to be DRLs. (or disabled?)

Edit: setting for UConnect in this video:

There are no DRL settings in my UConnect anywhere which makes me think that I don’t have the lighting package. It’s not on the sticker or the VIN # info that I can find either.

They are whatever brand are installed from the factory.

So sounds like I need to change the setting off of auto and just choose a different one to have them run all the time….

I installed aftermarket DRL LED'S. They only work If I turn the dial knob manualy. They do not come on on auto even in the drive position like the manual states. Is this normal or correct?
