I'm wondering what others experiences have been with attempting to further negotiate a lease after the vehicle has been built and delivered...
My local dealer and I agreed upon numbers for my new lease- 21 Sahara Altitude (my first Wrangler
). As I continue to wait for it to be built, I've seen on this forum the Jeep brochure and coupon many are receiving. $750? $1,000? I requested a brochure several weeks ago and am hoping it arrives before the vehicle does. Additionally, I've read about the affiliation discounts some are receiving and I want to look into this further. To further complicate things, my trade-in (19 Charger R/T) seems to be appreciating as time goes on. Maybe not appreciating, but depreciating less than expected.
My question for you all is... have you attempted to further negotiate your lease costs after the initial agreement was reached? Whether for additional discounts, change in trade-in value, or something else. If so, how did it go? Are dealers typically receptive to this?
I think I got a good (er maybe descent) price. I don't want to screw that up, but I also don't want to pay more than I have to.
Thanks in advance!
