Next batch of KO3 dropped. Bummed to see the 315/70r17 was only released in load range f. The 35s in load c won't be available till 2026 i think 😭. Was going to consider them when ready to step up to 35ish tires but will be ready well before then lol.

Are these squares like the KO2s? Or did they decide to make the KO3 fashioned like a circle?

And what about the rubber compound? Do these work in sun exposure or do they still have the feature where within 18 months the sidewalls look like 100 year old plaster walls?

Yeah but they're KOs, the worst they'll ever see is a gravel road, so who cares if they've got less give than a Flintstones wheel?

they are definitely quieter the the K02's.

But I still prefer the aesthetic look for the K02's. The K03's look like falkens

Yea i had the stock duelers on my sahara and traded em out for KO2s from a rubi. The KO2s are getting a little noisy but also have almost 40k on em

Why would they release a tire that's almost exclusively used on Jeeps, Broncos, and Raptors in F
I had the same question so I emailed them and they have no current plans to offer 315/70/17 in C. Load range D will be coming in 2025.

BFG has always done this. In the past, almost all of their KO and KO2 tires were made in LT-E rating. There were a handful that also came in a LT-C but generally they made them all in a 10-ply equivalent.

Looks like now they're moving on up to LT-F in some sizes.

My theory on this is that tires have backward compatibility, but not forward compatibility. In other words, you can use a LT-E tire on everything from a Jeep Wrangler to a Ram 1500 to a Ram 3500. But you cannot use a LT-C or a P rated tire on all those vehicles. So by making the tire in LT-E they maximize their profits by not having to design, test, and manufacture multiple tire ratings in the same sizes.

Taking a page from falkens books. It's my understanding the AT4Ws are much stronger and offered in higher load ranges than the AT3W. So it's a more completey redesigned tire more than an upgrade from 3 to 4.

So friggen annoying.

I thought i saw on someones post about the release schedule that they're releasing a 35x12.5x17 that will be a C but not till 2026
