KMC tank beadlocks - ring spacer

Took Jeep in to get my KMC tank's put on and Im going to need a beadlock spacer.

Tires are BFG AT 37's.

The only spacer kit I can find is Teraflex and its about an 1/8" thick... Does anyone make anything thicker?

BFG beads aren't that thick, in fact they've got smaller beads compared to many tires that work well with KMC beadlocks, you shouldn't need any thing larger than a 3mm spacer (or really, you shouldn't need any spacer at all with that setup TBH). Are you putting them together yourself or is it a shop that's telling you that you need a spacer?

I'd question whether or not they're doing the multiple rounds of torques. The beads take a while (multiple rounds) to squish down. More than 1/8" is 100% installation error when we're talking BFGs, IMO.

Good luck. Worst case, I'd try assembling at home. Totally easy to do with a spray bottle of soapy water, a bucket, and a torque wrench. Just takes absolutely forever and a million torques of the bolts. Just make sure to keep going around in a star pattern.

Lay a straight edge across the installed beadlock ring and you will see how far off the ring is

Glad he got it. Beadlocks are definitely an adventure the first time if your dude hasn't worked on them before.
