KBD Fender & Hyperflash

Hi Friends. I recently installed the KBD fenders on my 2021 JLU. They look great and work great except I can’t get rid of the blinker out warning and hyperflash. They don’t appear to hyperflash outside of the jeep, just on the dash. My jeep originally came with OEM LEDs. Ive tried using JScan to disable and enable the LEDs to get rid of the hyperflash but nothing is working. Also installed the recommended load equalizers attaching to the two black wires coming from the KBD fenders. Any ideas how I can get rid of this error? I even tried disabling the blinker diagnostic via JScan but that didn’t work either.

I have seen a video on YouTube where he switched it from LED to halogen and back to LED and it solved the problem. It was Eddie from [Banned Site] if memory serves me. Might be worth a look

Thank you! I finally got it to work after some time of messing with it. The solution was to clear the dtc and THEN change the LED lights settings. I also did a very annoying and long process of completely restarting the ECU via JScan, waiting for about 2 minutes for the car to be turn completely off and then doing it again about 6 more times lol. [Banned Site] walks through this on YouTube. Didn’t work the first time until I reset the DTCs.
