On Order JLU Sahara GCM
I just got off of a session with JeepChat. I ordered JLUS Sahara with Body Colored Hard Top and Premium Soft Top and LED Package on 3/4. Went from D1 to JB on Saturday April 7th. They indicated that there is still a Material Restriction on the Premium Soft Top and LED. When I pressed about estimated date of resolution on them she indicated that the estimated resolution date on the Soft Top was May 14th! She was not able to give me any estimates on the LED Restriction.

Also the vehicle apears on their website as "In Transit" and you can see the window sticker. The General Manager told me that most times Jeep Chat has misinformation. He confirmed there was a soft top issue but it was resolved a few weeks ago. As for the LED issue he did not really know anything about that. He also mentioned that there are 30,000 built JL's just waiting for trains, trucks, etc. So He could not give a level of confidence as to whether my Wrangler would really get there between 4/17-4/21. Fingers crossed!

I would be happy just knowing as well....all I am getting from my dealer is "I dont know why it is not here"

I agree, that is what most of "US" want.
- Just the truth not some bullcrap automated answer. Just be honest, hell we all know shipping them is a nightMARE..
-My only complaint is that we pay for shipping on the sticker price and they have the nerve to increased that charge when they cant even deliver them in a timely manner thats what really gets me... but this is what happens in a market that has no REAL competition

I would be happy just knowing as well....all I am getting from my dealer is "I dont know why it is not here"
It's pathetic that I am doing all this research and contact trying to get an idea of when my $55k order will be delivered. The salesman just plays dumb. Which is not surprising because from the start I have known more about the product then he has.

Funny that you can get better tracking INFO for a box of pencils than a $55,000 jeep produced by a company worth BILLIONS

I am pulling the old end around this morning...bypassing my salesman and contacting someone else higher up to see if they can get me some answers. My salesman is a nice guy, but just not very responsive.

Just for the heck of it, I tried Jeep Chat today. The rep said my ETA is now 4/22/18. I was surprised that I now have an ETA... I've been stuck in Marion for nearly 30 days. We'll see...

Hopefully you do get some answers. Hope I get my jeep sometime before someone gets a Jeep Truck... at least it feels like it.

Well...more info, but not the news I wanted. They said that yes, it is sitting at the rail yard in East STL,(which is 25 minutes from the dealer) and that they have no idea why. From there it has to be sent to the rail yard in Wentzville, which is actually farther away from the dealer than it is now!!! WTF! Why not just drive it from where it is now to the freaking dealership!?!?! She is reaching out to her FCA rep to see what they can do, but I am not optimistic... :crying:

2015 Wrangler 4 Dr, 2018 on order
I ordered my JL on Jan 12, delivery was expected in 6-8 weeks.

Jeep chat told me that the delivery window for my JL has changed again, to 4/14-18 (14 weeks from the order date). After hearing that, I contacted my dealership. According to the dealership, "there's a shipping/transport issue -- not sure what -- that is affecting delivery of vehicles..."

I was also told that my dealership (located a mere 90 minute drive from the plant in Toledo, OH) is coordinating sending employees to Toledo to locate the vehicles its customers are waiting on, and drive them back to the dealership.

With any luck, this will happen next week, unless the Jeeps arrive at the dealership through normal means before that.

PS My delivery window from Jeep chat has changed again to 4/17-21. Its a constantly moving target.

I ordered my JL on January 24, they told me 4-6 weeks, my shipping has been saying Nitro for the past 3 weeks. Called my dealer they have no idea when it will arrive either. My ETA goes up and up and up every few days. Its so frustrating. 11 weeks in now
