What's next? We get back in the queue after Soft Top supply restarts, then they run out of Steering wheels?

Or your Jeep gets built and sits in Toledo for a 40 days like mine. It still hasn't moved.

I am in D1 for the last 7 days. Does that mean that all my parts are accounted for? If that is true, I'll keep my fingers crossed that they hold the westbound train for me.

Well, I had my VON yesterday and got a VIN today. I’m in D status. Really hoping I get lucky somehow and avoid these delays.

2.0T engine
Dual tops
LED
Selec-Trac
Cold weather
Infotainment
Proximity keyless
Safety group
Leather

From what I gather, the dual tops may hold me up... not to mention the 2.0T?

Unsure on why soft-tops would be more difficult to get into the system than hard tops.

I figure by the time I get around to needing a soft top they'll be available after-market

I am wondering if the ability to track orders doesn't create more issues. Keeping people in the dark and surprising them with a "Your Jeep is ready" call might actually improve customer satisfaction.

There is probably solace in not knowing it took 7 extra minutes to tighten the screws on your glove box.

Sorry for the easy question, but how do I track with my VIN or VON? On my ‘14 build, I used the VOTS tool which is of course gone now. Is there a free option out there now a days?

Who knows dude . That’s coming from a regional vp tho... don’t order dual top or rag ittl go
Straight to the back
Of the line
It is definitely a soft top issue. I ordered mine on 1/14 was told to expect a 2/15 delivery. Through contact and calls to @JeepCares was able to determine she was at the "body vendor" awaiting the soft top (I ordered a dual top) which was an issue for those ordering the dual top. I called the dealership and requested they have it shipped without the soft top, which they did. After two more weeks, my Jeep was delivered this Tuesday WITH THE SOFT TOP IN A BOX IN THE BACK OF THE JEEP AND NOT INSTALLED as the previous JK i bought in 07. Couple that with the accessories we were told would be available at ship (snorkeler, stubby bumper, alt grill, etc...). With all the pomp and circumstance we were shown in Sept, I am sorely disappointed at the roll out. At this point, I am considering scrapping my MOPAR Accessories order cart for something else.

Bummer man. I will say, soft top in the box is now standard on JL dual top orders, from what I’ve read.

Definitely a soft top issue my Jeep has been and is in waiting for additional equipment status I contacted Jeep chat and asked what’s the hold up told them I heard talk it’s was the soft top and the rep confirmed that was the issue. I’ve been in hold status for 11 days the rep say after 15 days Jeep would escalate my vehicle, whatever that means if the tip isn’t there what will escalating it do. I’ll wait if there’s no movement I’ll ask my dealer if it can be delivered without the top and they just ship it later. Hope that helps you all out.

Hey there. I'm in the same status as you. Been there for 27 days waiting for a soft top. I was escalated after 15 days as per what you said. It means absolutely nothing. Apparently we are stuck until soft tops start to come in which has been slated for "Mid-March to Early April".. No further info has been provided.
