For trail view and live data, I need to leave the OBD2 adapter AND security bypass cables plugged in, correct?

From what I was told, you need the security bypass. Thus I have it and can do whatever I want with JScan.

I didn't use the security cable for live data monitoring of engine information.

I assume to unhook the sway bar in 2wd the security cables need to be bypassed?
