Just recently have been making quite a few changes to the Jeep. Put on a poison spider bruiser front and rear bumper along with warn vr winch. Looking at some new fender options for JLUS to provide higher clearance for the tires. Though I would prefer to have the turn signals part of the fender I have been struggling to decide between some options. Please provide any feedback or thoughts.

I have narrowed down to couple options though I haven’t been able to decide which would be the most balanced between functionality and looks. Here are the options I have been viewing.

JCR:

https://www.jcroffroad.com/product/JLFX2-C.html (Crusader Mid-Width)

Road Armor:

I am leaning towards JCR fenders though I haven’t been able to decide between the mauler or crusader widths. What are the benefits of narrow fender flares? What are y’all’s thoughts? I drive on road a lot though plan to use it as a weekend warrior. I couldn’t figure out the width on the Road Armor fenders though if any one has either of these installed on their vehicle, please chime in with some pictures and/or reviews.

Only thing is, everyone and their mother seems to have road armor. To me they are fugly 🤣🤣 make it your own and go with what you want. I've been considering the JCR for my new diesel as I just canceled my order for the KBD plastics as I did notice they sit a lot lower than the rubi fenders. What about Genright or Nemesis? Little more than JCR sim look if your looking for aluminum.

Poison spyder I’ve been waiting on, but I like jcr’s flares with more than just a simple signal bulb that nemesis, GenRight have. Metalcloak I like but haven’t seen anyone with a install video or review them yet. Some states want more than the little bulb also even though I know some headlight companies have so you can integrate the turn signal into the headlights. I still have some more important installs before the flares such as the front axle swap, brakes upgrade and the rear hinge reinforcement kit from Teraflex, but it’s good to see someone mention JCR.
