The Metalcloak sliders look intriguing. I may want to scrap my Mopars.

@3TV Thanks, saw those and they look nice but dunno if they will hold up to Rubicon abuse several times per year?
I've run my 4-dr RSE Stepsliders through the Rubicon 4 times so far. The only problem was that I did have to re-boot the sliders one time. There is a 2-second delay between shutting the door and retraction of the step. I had closed the door and started off when the step was still deployed, and hit a rock with it, which makes the steps go into limp mode to protect the system from damage. All I had to do was turn a switch under the hood off and back on again, which reboots the system and the step retracts.

I had issues when I order them and the "waiting to come back from power coating" .. well was not so truthful.

You need to phone them and get a date. OR better if you order through some company have them call for you and then eMail you the date and status. (so it's in writing)

The run "lines" so you need to find out when they run the 2 door line.

March is beyond excessive.
I ended up cancelling my order and getting a refund.

Bottom line, they deliberately lied to me and after 3+months they admitted they didn't know when or if my order would be fulfilled. They had my money the entire time.

That is spot on.

They do lie about the shipment and the status. When companies lie it is very difficult to trust them.

Eventually I got mine and really like them. They are well built.

Kinda surprised no one else has the AMP Research PowerStep XL. When I bought my JL, it had a set of LOD destroyers on it. While they looked great, and I'm sure they would work perfect off road, the wife was going to be driving the car to work every so often and with heels or dress shoes they weren't going to work for her. Plus she wanted a step a bit lower but didn't want to sacrifice clearance.

did some research and bought the AMP XLs (they only make the XL for the 2 door but that was fine as I wanted the heavier duty). she loves them. Have bounced them off a rock or two but nothing big but they are working great. Have had them on now for just over a year now. I do lube them every so often according to their manual. I don't have a photo of them with the step down but could take one if you need it. Makes it very easy for my mom or wife or kids to get into the Jeep now but maintaining good clearance for off road use.

The '25 Wrangler Sport 2door we picked up for our son already had these Go Rhino Dominator Xtreme side steps installed. We had previously put something similar on his '03 Wrangler X.

I like them, especially because they were free. :) I did remove the silver Go Rhino plate from each one.
