I also have LOD Destroyer Sliders. I've run LOD on my JK, JL and wife's JLU. Protection on and off road and easy step.

I went with Greenlane offroad. Bolt up the same way as stock Rubicon rails, very easy 30 minute job. NO drilling. Made in Canada, no sales tax charged and very reasonably priced. Look and work great. Heavy duty aluminum construction so no rusting. I would buy them again. Almost went with the LOD's but didn't want the drilling and complex installation.

Congrats on deciding, I didn’t have to do any drilling to install my LoD’s. That’s an option for them if you plan on doing any rock crawling.

Thanks, they look good on the website. I like that they are aluminum. Even with a good powder on steel, after 18 months, I had to take off the steps I had on my "24 JLUR and have them spraylined due to rust. Can you please post a picture of yours; I want to see them on a 2dr.

You wouldn’t like me if you knew
I have the NXTGEN removable side steps that attach to the rock rails for my JLR

Works great! They even give you all the tools needed to install them in the package.

Great product

When my 2026 Ruby X gets delivered im swapping them over and just buying the rears

Thanks Mike, no problem with rust from the Michigan road salt?
Not really. Very little actually and I just hit it with Rustoleum”s Rust Reformer then let it dry. Then with some satin black. As mentioned, very little rust. And it’s been 4 years. I’m impressed with them.

Great, thanks Mike, I am in Michigan also, the last set I bought for my JLUR didn't last 18 months before all the welds started rusting. I had to have them spray lined.

I have Greenlane's, too. They replaced some rock rusters from a now defunct company (good riddance). They work well in the snow and ice, too. Just keep in mind they're a step and not meant to be bashed or slid against things on trails. They're heavy duty aluminum, but that will never be sliders.
