Rear control arms and front springs are the only thing that are the same.

Not even in the same state. There’s no way to easily make a rear JK bumper on JL.

I had measured it at one time, but forget the exact numbers. The JK I think was around 46-47 (or something like) wide while the JL was more like 38-40 wide (or something like that).

Hmm what about the mounting points? Considering if an old JK bumper guard can mount up

You should have any problems bolting up a front JK bumper on a JL, though you will need to hog out the bolt holes in the frame horns as the JK & JL as the tolerances are ever so slightly different.

Where things get a little dicey is if you want to use the lower skid plate from a JK on the JL. I had to break out a cutting wheel to lob off part of the two posts that drop down off of the frame that the lower skid from my factory Rubi bumper attached to.

I'm a little lost on what you're asking.

As I mentioned before, there is no way to make a rear JK bumper work on JL since the rear frame on a JL is significantly narrower than a JK.

7 inch headlights will need an adapter bracket/bucket and most likely a pair of adapter harnesses to work.

I was bored and thought I’d try this.

I have a Jk 2 door spiderweb shade just collecting dust.

It is not a perfect fit because it does not go all the way to the back but I don’t care about people sitting back there! Lol.

Zero flapping on the sound bar and cant flap in the rear because it’s not resting on the rear bar. It’s really not bad. The short ball straps even fit perfect in the soft top lactxhes on the header.

So yeah it works fine
