Dusk and dawn can be chaos on a country road, which is pretty much everywhere once you get out of any cityWhy do many Aussies have cattle pushers on their 4x4s?
What are they eating in the road?Dusk and dawn can be chaos on a country road, which is pretty much everywhere once you get out of any city
I'm guessing the water, when they are like this it isn't too bad, it's when they are eating grass at the side of the road and just come out of nowhere. What are they eating in the road?
If the speed limit was dropped everywhere where you might see a roo the only 110kmh bit would be multi lane freeways and it would take a very long time to get anywhere as they soon disappear once you get away from the main routes state to state or the coast.110 kph is a rather ambitious speed allowance, given the appearance and documented risk profile of that roadway.
I should have said it this way: Using just the photo as reference, that curving rural lane doesn't appear capable of supporting an almost 70 mph speed limit. It didn't really have anything to do with the 'roos. If the speed limit was dropped everywhere where you might see a roo the only 110kmh bit would be multi lane freeways and it would take a very long time to get anywhere as they soon disappear once you get away from the main routes state to state or the coast.
