Jeep Window flying off on interstate

Happened to my wife on our 2020 - it had a replacement OEM top with the green guide pieces. Top was up but front windows were down. Rear passenger window blew out and fort did not hit anyone. I still had the original back left window with the white tab and no problems since.

I've a 2021 JLU soft top, with the original [pointed] white upper guide pieces. Yes, an amended design was introduced (the green ones), but at what exact point I can't say. Mine is an early production '21, built in October 2020.

Interesting. I have a Premium Soft Top on my '2019 JLUR (Build Date April 2019) and I have green tabs. Factory top, I'm the original owner and it's never been replaced.

I've the sailcloth top. Perhaps that's something to do with it.

Either way, the v2.0 pieces do look like they'd work a bit better.

Sorry to revive the dead.... came across a dealer customer service bulitin that in 2020 Jeep had place a free customer service to remedy the issue. If fixed by service without knowlege of the campaign, Jeep will pay reimbursement.
