Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
I always tell people that buying a Jeep is like getting 500 new friends. You have a bunch of new friends that wave at you driving down the road, a bunch of new friends that talk with you at stop lights, gas stations, grocery store parking lots, just about anywhere. Pretty soon your in a Jeep club, fellow Jeepers are stopping by for coffee in the morning, you are going to bbqs in Jeepers back yards, and then every weekend your Jeep friends are wheeling and camping all over the State or the Nation. Then there is still ice cream meets, golf outings, euchre nights, holiday parties, and Jeep people weddings. It seriously never ends. You can not possible do all the things that our local Jeep club schedules. Hell it might be closer to 700 new friends.
