Hey there , I’ve installed a teraflex 2” at the front and 1.5 at the rear . Debating on which shocks to install.
Should a go with :
TERAFLEX VSS 9550 TWIN-TUBE SHOCK KIT (O-2" LIFT)
OR
BILSTEIN 5100 SERIES SHOCK ABSORBER FRONT 2-3" LIFT
I just lifted my Jeep and found some Falcon monotubes on Facebook. I installed those and holy hell where they stiff. They looked good but way to stiff.
I ended up purchasing the 0-2 Teraflex VSS 9550 shocks and LOVE they way they ride. It is soft like factory, but better. Now, my factory shocks had 130K miles on them, but they still were good. The 9550's are really good if you want a soft but slight firmer than stock. My Jeep is for my daughter and it will never see off road and if it does, it will not be a rock crawler.
My research was that the Bilstein 5100's are awesome, but stiffer AND more expensive. I paid $350 for a set of 4 from extremeterrain.com.
