I'd like to see a vetting process before any content from a video-sharing platform, like YouTube or TikTok, is approved for posting on a discussion forum.

The broadband rollout of AI that started last year has only served to accelerate an existing problem.

What would that vetting process look like? One of the admins evaluates every video to see if any claims are bullshit or not?

If you're going down that path, then obviously animated gifs would require the same level of monitoring, right? Well, an animated gif is just a series of static gifs, so those would also need to be vetted.

And if they only allow "admin approved" video content, the next step would be to only allow "admin approved" textual content, right?

Yeah, no thanks.

Just pass it through an LLM to vet. What could go wrong?

John, I knew you'd take that one and run with it. Keep on keeping on, right?
