Thanks again for the advice. Do you feel the OEM is good enough for most lifts of 4"?
The oem bottom mount location of the drag link? Yes, it's perfectly fine for 4.5" of actual lift and below. I got 4.25" of actual lift from the 3.5" Metalcloak Gamechanger, and the bottom mounted drag link worked just fine. I had the full SteerSmarts front end linkage set for nearly 50k miles and they are great components. I just recently swapped them out for even stronger components, but still stuck with bottom mount.

Nothing OEM is good enough for a stock Jeep let alone one with a lift. I ran a 3.5" lift with 37" tires and beadlocks with the Steer Smarts draglink, and tie rod with the Falcon stabilizer with great success. Had to use a bone stock sport on loaner once and it drove like $hit compared to my Jeep.

How bad is the rake? Would you mind measuring the distance between the top of the BFG 315/70 and the XR fender lip front and rear please.
