I wouldn’t trust a repair on that, especially since it’s probably a daily driver. A blow out on the highway costs a whole lot more than a new tire.My independent shop deemed this tire, a stock Michelin LTX with only 11K miles, unrepairable. The metal shard caused a 1/2” slice between the treads and the tire deflated within 2 minutes after puncture. I figured I’d ask here before seeking a second opinion from another shop. Thanks, guys.
