2024 JLUXR, just stuck the hardtop back on and couldn't remember seeing this much of the rubber gasket where the hardtop sits back down behind the rear doors.

Thanks for any help!

Does your bolt holes line up? If so you should be good.

Here’s a couple of my Jeep just now and my hardtop is definitely seated right.

Interesting, I never checked my JL for fitting but I know the JK was flush on the vertical line, horizontal was having some spacing due to the extra sealant tape I was applying between the top and the body. My hard top should be going back on soon will look at it.

One of my pics the angle makes it look pretty flush, some of my pic angles make it look shifted back more than it is. As you said though the guide pins are either in their holes or your top would be sitting up away from the tub rather than sitting down on it.

Thanks all, all the guide pins and bolts line up perfectly, but just seemed to be offset back more than I remember... and looking if it was anymore forward the rear doors would not be able to close...so it must be in the right spot!

It's all got some wiggle room, so proceed with caution as you tighten things down and maybe it will pull back into place. If that was the first time the rubber was separated from the top, may have released some stress that was there but was otherwise adhering in place somehow.

Always give it a good wiggle before zipping it up.

close the rear doors and check the gap fit the freedom panels do not latch, push the top into position as to make all gaps correct do this after losining all the hold down bolts 1/2 way out.
