Is this a skid plate?

Is this the stock skid plate for the sway bar disconnect? It was under the air dam I removed when I replaced the bumper. I assume it is but it hangs low and I'm not to crazy about how it looks. I know DV8 (and maybe others?) have their own but I just wanted to check that this is what it was.

I don’t know if it is a skid plate, but i believe it to be designed to protect the sway bar disconnect. I left mine on there
