Hey everybody.... new member, new owner. I've been in a Tacoma for close to 20 years and decided that it was time to move on (was tried of getting thumbs up from illegals hauling cardboard and/or landscaping equipment) so I recently pulled the trigger on a 2018 JLUS. Love it so far.

Currently I sit a little lower than the Tacoma (which has a 3.5 lift on 31's) but that should change within the next few months.

Outside of that. I'm in my early 40s, live in North San Diego County, an ex-marine, was divorced about 4 years ago and was recently engaged. She's cool... actually encouraged me to buy the wrangler (she knew it would make me happy).

Well, after being a forum member for a few months, a Tacoma guy for ten years, and shopping around for a Jeep for the past two years, I finally became a Jeep guy last week! I still can't believe it, but I'm definitely loving it.

One pleasant side effect is that I noticed I'm in less of a hurry to get to places. I'm driving a lot more mellow, and just let all those people in a rush pass me. I'm enjoying my time on the road!

Congratulations on your new lifestyle! :like:

One of the best things for me after years of driving the Subaru: The Jeep is just more relaxed. lol

Wait till you get the top and doors off.

Thank you very much!

I can't wait to take the top and doors off! That was THE thing that made me want a Wrangler. But my wife has made me promise I'm going to wait until the new car smell wears off. Oh well, it's winter anyways.

Hello everyone! My name is Dan from New York. I recently purchased my very first Wrangler. I had a Jeep Renegade prior and decided to make the change. I'm a complete novice in regards to aftermarket parts and modifications and was hoping to come here and learn from fellow experienced JL owners. I went for the 2-door model despite it not getting as much love from most in comparison to the 4-door, but hey, I love the classic 2-door look.

I have not driven a Sahara since I bought mine, but I didn't really notice any difference in feel. I currently have the AEV 2.5" lift +geo correction kit with 35s, and the wider tires helped it not be so darty on the freeway, and suspension feels a lot like stock. Around town the Jeep is fine, its just on those 2 hour plus road trips that it get tough. I really want to build a true Overlanding vehicle for my next purchase and if the hwy manners are not better on the new Jeep I might have to wait it out to see the new Bronco/F150 or 4Runner/Tacoma.
Just bought a 2018 JL Sahara 2 weeks ago. Just did a 410 mile trip to Florida. Very stable at 75 mph and got 22mpg. The v6 8 speed automatic handled it with ease.

First time posting, just joined the forum. Already spending a LOT of time reading through the information here, what an awesome community of people!

Took delivery of my JLU in October 2018 (first Jeep I've owned and already I can tell it's going to the the BEST vehicle I've owned!). First thing I did was go out and get some vinyl graphics put on it, then broke it in proper with a 6,000+ mile road trip through the southwest (southern Utah and southern California primarily). Camped inside the Jeep for 15 out of 22 nights. Loving it so far! I'll be lifting it and doing some other mods as soon as I can afford it :like:

Checking in. Traded my 2dr for this 2019 Sting Gray JLU. My 2dr Rubicon was a beast but just didn't have the room I needed. Let the mods begin!

Hey everyone! I’m Mark from Nashville. First time Wrangler owner. Bought my JLU Sport in September and have really enjoyed it. We live on top of a 750 ft hill on a 35 acre piece of mud. After spending way to much time on a tractor fighting a loosing battle trying to keep our road passable, I told my wife that I was either going to pave the dang road or buy a Jeep, which ever was cheaper. Well, actually the road was cheaper, but don’t tell my wife. Now I get to have fun just coming home,

I'm New. Just got a 18 JLUS in sting-gray. I love it. I've wanted a Wrangler for well over 15 years and I finally did it!

Down side is my front window lol. 400 miles on it and I already have a crack. Tips on Better glass options or better protection?

Hello to all! Been spending a better part of the week reading and learning about our new Jeep. Still waiting for our 2019 Moab to arrive but I'm in no hurry...all good things right? Our 1999 TJ Sahara just went to it's new owner...sad day for us but "Boo" (my daughter called it that) is going to make someone very happy for Christmas!

Merry Christmas all!!!
