Checking in here. Looking at my first Wrangler, most likely a JLUR. I've had Jeeps before, from the 86 Grand Wagoneer (4" lift on 33s with a 72 Razor grille) that's in my sig along with the wide track 82 Cherokee I had at the same time to a 2004 Grand Cherokee. Right now I've got a 95 Bronco dripping oil on my garage floor that's needed to convince my wife a new Jeep is a better project ;)

While the Jeep will my daily, I work from home so that doesn't mean much. I end up down some rough logging roads pretty frequently, both for work and play. Some of those will definitely benefit from the Rubicon. Living near the base of Mount Rainier gives me plenty of opportunity.

Great site here with some good knowledge, I'm looking forward to being a part of it.

New to the forum. Not new to Jeeps. Finally bought a new one. 2018 Rubicon Unlimited. Third Jeep in forty two years. Much different than the old '61 CJ-5, and the '76 CJ-5, I bought new. So far, I am seeing some good information, and opinions. I think I will hang around awhile.

Greetings all. Had a '13 Wranger Sport S, which I loved. Ended up selling it a couple of years ago. Currently driving a '16 Grand Cherokee, but am wanting to get back into another Wrangler. Still undecided whether I want to get into a JL or find a killer deal on a JKU. Decisions, decisions...

Hello All - Just placed an order on a 2019 JL Rubicon 4dr in sting grey 3 days ago. This will be my first Jeep and very excited getting it. Coming from the import world (German, Japanese) I'm really looking forward to it. The dealer told me it's about a 3 month wait since it's a factory order. I'm giving up my 2017 C43 AMG for this lovely Rubicon.

Hi!

First jeep was a '75-76 (not sure) CJ5 (used) and upgraded to a '78 CJ7 Renegade (new). Had that until '82 and haven't had a jeep since...until this summer when I pulled the trigger on a JLUR (White hard top and fenders / with a premium sunrider as well). I don't know why I took so much time off. I'm looking forward to a few adventures in the Southeast (and beyond) with my 12 year old son.

Still stock but have plans...

Hi All! I'm Steve from NC. I purchased my first Wrangler last week, a 2018 Punkin Orange JL Sport! I have wanted a Wrangler for years and after putting over 700 miles on her so far I can't believe I waited so long! I even took it to Uwharrie yesterday and got on Wolfden 89 (easy) and Falls Dam 96 (moderate) trails and it did great!

Looking at purchasing 2018 JLU
Hello all...new here. My wife and I just purchased a 2018 JLU Sport (Sting Gray) with the 2.0 turbo last week. This is not our first jeep as I had a 2000 TJ once before, but never really did much with it as far as off road and mods. We hope to mod this one. One of the things on the top of the list is a rack for the top as soon as there are some options to choose from and a RTT. We are in the Mooresville, NC area and not too far from the mountains. So we hope to get some great fun use.

Hi all,

I'm Kent from Las Vegas, NV. I'm a tech guy, and in the past, I've had Wrangler YJ's and TJ's. However, I have been away from "All Things Jeep" for the past 15 years or so, doing more "sports-car" oriented things.

Now, I'm wanting to get back in and looking at JL's. I'm not much into the hard-core stuff -- no rock crawling, mudding or wild parties for me -- I'm just a quiet trail driver who loves wrenching and doing maintenance and upgrades, and of course being in nature with a capable vehicle. If I make some new friends with similar interests, that would be a bonus.

Cheers!
Kent

Hi All! I'm Ali and I just joined yesterday. My love for Jeeps is growing everyday after watching the 3 youtube hardcore Jeep owners Jason @AutoEdits, Kevin @LiteBrite and the guys @[Banned Site]. I never knew how capable these trucks are until last few months. I also test drove the 2018 Rubicon JLU and have to say, as a Toyota Land Cruiser fan/owner I am starting the see difference between these two amazing engineering marvels. I am excited to learn more about what you all doing to your Jeeps and learning from your experiences to prepare me for what I am planning to do on my future order of JLU Rubicon. Cheers!

Hello Everyone!

My name is John. I have been riding in Jeeps my whole life, but I currently have the pleasure of being the keeper of Off Road Warehouse's Company JLU. I've worked for ORW for 7 years, and I'm your guy for Jeep, suspension, and shock absorber questions and more. I can't wait to keep evolving our JLU into a super capable vehicle and to document the build along the way. I hope I can share my experiences, and hear all of yours too.

Greetings and Salutations to everyone! I am new here and just made my first Jeep purchase, 10/3/18. 2018 JLU Sport (Granite Crystal Metallic). Wow, what a amazing feeling and ride it has been. Have wanted a Jeep since a teenager, and the JL lineup finally persuaded me to take the big jump. I am so glad I did! Have enjoyed everything about this vehicle since I drove it off the dealership parking lot. Even got an extra credit card just for the upgrades to this beautiful beast of a machine. New Mopar all-weather floor liners, interior LED lighting (for the kids), black adventure mirrors (learned I needed these while driving with doors off). Also ordered the Sunrider for my hardtop (on back order, sigh). Would have ordered the power soft top, but they only make it for Sahara/Rubicon? I now wave at everyone I pass in a jeep (my kids call me lame), and I enjoy the return waves. Guess my only let down was no standard LED front headlights. I mean, this is 2018, this is a large finance purchase, the LED lights should be on all models in my opinion. Looks like I will be ordering the Mopar kit and upgrade. Anyone who has purchased the Quake LED, curious as to your likes/dislikes. Again, excited to be part of the community.

Always wanted a wrangler, and finally convinced myself that I'd kept my old car long enough. 2018 JLU Sport S, Granite Crystal Metallic with the Granite wheels, which I love. My 5 year old son keeps telling me I should have bought a blue one, and my wife gives me a hard time every time I give or receive a wave, but so far this thing is a blast to drive. I'll be focused mostly on mall-rated upgrades until the spring while I learn about what I might need or want to hit the trails next year. Probably shooting more for an overlanding and light offroading build than rock crawling, but who knows. :)
