Yo!
Former V8 swapped, atlas, stretched, caged TJ owner.
Wanted a 4 door since the JK’s- but something about the JK’s put me off.
JL was a must have, when I saw them.
2018 JLUR, with 130K miles (I’ve put 50K miles on it)- no issues yet, fingers crossed.

I've picked up my 4th jl wrangler. 2 v6, 392 and now rubicon X 2.0 turdbo. I have to say I don't miss the 392. range sucked, MDS was terrible, didn't track straight, getting old it was too loud and obnoxious. 26 rubicon X 2.0 engine is peppy, kinda loud and sounds terrible, but it does track straight the best out of past wranglers. i'll keep this for long time.

Back in the Wrangler game. Had a CJ in the 80s, a JK in the 00s and now a JL. Had a bunch of F150s in between. I'm retired, and like to get out to the parks, forests and wildlife areas for Ham radio. So other than being a daily, that's what I'll be using it for. No crawling, but some off road.

First Wrangler, '21 Sport 2 door with 44K miles - upgraded the wheels by lucking in to take off 392's with w BFG's, upgraded the Soft top with a take off twill/tinted, getting Rubicon Shocks and Springs installed Wednesday. My goal is a Rubicon esq machine on a used Sport Budget:)

2018 JL Sport, bought it used a year ago after the XJ finally died (RIP). Since then, only minor changes from stock, some pinch and rocker covers from Rugged Ridge, and some side steps. Oh, and a new head gasket that went out after only 6 months of ownership.

My goal is to slowly add new LED lights, a rear locker, and eventually a nicer front bumper. (looking to take recommendations on all 3 if anyone wants to shout some out)

Hello from North Texas 😊

Jeep Wrangler JL Introductions & Welcome Thread 👋 25_willys

2025 Willys w/ XTREME 35" Tire Package in Joose.

First Wrangler, second Jeep. Recently moved from a Gladiator Sport. After driving a few trucks, I realized I rarely ever used the bed anymore. The Gladiator is a great platform for other things like overlanding, but realistically, I just want to go to off road parks and get to campsites and hiking trails on forest roads when I travel out of state.

It's been a long time since I've been to Big Bend NP, and I've never been in the interior of the State Ranch, so I'm looking forward to getting out there again and exploring areas I couldn't get to before.

As much as I wanted to try to justify a Rubicon (and there was a Mojito Rubicon twin to this one nearby that I was eyeing), I think this should provide a good starting place to get out there without breaking the bank (or warranty) on modifications. Although, on that front, I did pick up some Rubicon rock rails on Marketplace for cheap. I don't know why the dealership I went to changed out a lot of the Willys and Rubicon stock rails for the running boards...

Got back from the dealership this evening with my first jeep. Got a smokin' good deal on a loaded joose rubicon. Never even test drove the thing, the 15minute drive home was my first time in a jeep. Loved all 15 minutes of it so far! Kids were super excited.
