Mike from Newport RI. Not a JL owner (yet?), but am very interested in them.

Never had a Wrangler , though I've always wanted one. I had a 97 ZJ for 12 years that I mildly nodded and wheeled. I really miss having a Jeep!

I was looking into and putting off getting a JKU for the past 2 years, but now that the JL is out and JK supply is dwindling, JL may be the way to go.

I don't plan on any serious wheeling, but would use it as a DD and as a support vehicle for my camping and mountainbiking trips. Oh, and of course cruising around the beach with the roof and doors off!

I'm looking forward to learning more about the JL on this site, as well as connecting with some local Jeepers if I get one.

Just a quick hello fro pa amish country. Just placed my order fri on a 4dr loaded rubicon. Have been a sports car guy for 30 years. The closest thing to a jeep i ever owned was a 72 international scout when i was in the navy. Looking forward to diving into the jeep lifestyle

Hi all, from Far West Texas! I've been interested in Wranglers for some time but I've never owned one. Looking forward to the MY19 so I can finally take the plunge. Looking forward to combing through this repository of knowledge to learn as much as I can before I order my JLU.

Paul here. My wife traded her 2011 Jeep Liberty Sport 70th Anniversary RWD in for a new Ocean Blue Sahara JL. We came home from a trip to Utah visiting BCNP and ZNP. We also took some side trips in between and it was on those side trips we decided that 4x2 was just not cutting it anymore to get us there reliably. The Sahara will spend most of it's time as a Tarmac Tarantula so a Rubi would have been overkill for our needs. I look forward to learning and sharing on the forum.

Hi all!
As I approach the big 5-0, and noticing that I’ve never bought a new car, I decided to go all-in- ordered an Ocean Blue Sahara on Saturday! After reading and researching for over a year, now comes the hardest part- waiting for my Jeep to get built and get in my driveway! Never owned a Jeep before, so looking forward to waving to everyone!

Our first "real" Jeep too. Welcome, and be prepared for the mod bug to bite if it hasn't already... Ocean blue is awesome!

Hi there! New Wrangler owner here! I looked but didn't see a threat, so sorry if this has been discussed at length elsewhere. Any ideas when more JL bikini, shade, sun tops, etc., will be out on the market?

Hi everyone,
I'm Brian from Raleigh, NC. We purchased our first ever Jeep 3 weeks ago. 2018 JLU Sport S. It's pretty loaded for a Sport model. Has the tow pkg, Alpine system with 7" screen, blind spot, heated seats/steering wheel etc. Way more options than we initially wanted but I'm loving the Jeep more and more everyday. I can't stop looking at upgrades and mods I wanna do.

I'm really enjoying the forum and all of the great information on here!
Hi Brian. Just bought my first Jeep a week ago as well. Sport JL with all of the option groups you mentioned. Since our keeps are so similar in options, age, etc I would like to know about your JL steering. I know I’ve read a lot from others having loose steering(play in the steering) and mine is pretty bad. Taking mine in to service department today.

Just purchased my first Jeep last week. JL Sport S and I LOVE it. I am having some pretty serious loose steering issues which upon researching the issue, I stumbled onto this forum. Got an appointment with the service department today. My advice is to take it on a really good test drive at all speeds. I will post after my service appointment today. Hopefully they can get it fixed because I love everything about it but worried about how safe it is.
I understand a Jeep has a little bit of play in the steering but I’m fighting to stay straight.

Congrats! I just hit the big 4-oh and was thinking the same thing, I've never had a new car and it would be great to finally get one.

I always thought buying "new" was silly, financially speaking, but I have no kids, no wife, no worries! So why not? lol
