Long time Jeep owner. Started with a Jeep Liberty. Had that for 9 years. Traded for a Grand Cherokee. Went from that to a sensible Cherokee Limited. It was my wife's daily driver, and she wasn't happy with the new design. She missed her old Liberty and felt like a soccer mom. So we went to look at Jeeps a few months ago, and we needed one with heated seats for my bad back. The sales manager said he had the perfect jeep for us. It had just been delivered, and hadn't even gone through inspection yet to put out on the lot. Sahara JLU. He drove it out for us to test drive. Wow, what an awesome Wrangler! My wife had to have it. And me also! We have put 5000 miles on it so far. Jeep hit a home run with this Wrangler.

Hi from LA - former 2012 JKU Sahara owner. Getting back into the jeep community. Debating if I wait for the diesel or pull the trigger on a JLU sport S now.

Hello from NY everyone glad to be part of this forum. I have been reading so many articles over the last several months that have been super helpful. I am not a Jeep owner yet but hopefully will be come Sept. Looking at a JL Rubicon and thanks to this forum have spoke to some dealers outside my area. I am not one to post new topics that have already been previously discussed I do my homework prior :) Anyway happy to now be an official member and will post some pics when I finally get my Jeep !

Been lurking and yappin here for a few weeks leading up to my purchase two days ago. White 4 door ruby The vehicle is pretty amazing and I just cant believe how far along jeep has come...of course that comes at a price. lol I wheel my jeeps, not extreme any more but I get out there and put them to the test and once set up it will getting a work out. Wheeling a 45k otd rig sounds pretty stupid but still cheaper and smarter then a blond. :)

I still have my TJ but it will be up for sale soon. I still love that thing and nothing will look better with the top down tooling around in it. But it cant touch the creature comforts, convenience, and ROOM the 4 doors have. And that 3.6 is amazing over the 4.0L.

With the new found space of the 4 door it just opens up all kinds off possibilities while retaining the essence of he original and not much more negativity and a whole lot more positivity.

Plans for skid plating (the bottom of this thing sucks), bumpers, 35s at first, beadlocks, Maybe 4.88s especially if 37s are a solution. Lots of exploring, quail hunting, a trip to alaska with my son.

But the absolute best thing about a jeep that most dont talk about is driving it around town with the top down, fetching bagels, buying dodads at ace hardware, or any stupid little drive. Screw all that capability that I use all the time, I love it most for those little jaunts. I bust on the mall crawlers but I get it totally. I live in a town with a view and sometimes feel like the luckiest guy in the world, top down, each ride feeling like the first.

NICE! Without a doubt the four door looks better with the doors on. Do they make half doors for these things? I recall no.

Good day to you fine folks. Jim here. I'm one that has always wanted a Jeep, and now at my more mature age if I don't get one I never will. I'm here to learn as much as possible before I walk into the showroom, and make the order. Thank all of you in advance for bearing with me, and my soon to come less than educated questions.

Hey all, currently driving a 3500 Ram Mega cab, as much as I love it, it is way more truck than I need. Been eyeing a Wrangler for a while, and see the potential of the JT coming out in the near future, so put the ram up for sale, hope I can move it, and then if the time is right jump into a JT. Generally I say let the new models get on the road for a bit before jumping, but as this is a Jeep, I would assume that there will be plenty of carry over from the wrangler and the reliablilty will be better than a fresh off the drawing board vehicle. Anyway, I hail from Bucks County PA, and will be tooling along with the rest of you till they release the JT, oh yeah, anyone looking for 2016 ram 3500 mega cab with Diesel and Aisin trans, hit me up.

Hello all, I may be like Jim above, have never had a Jeep, but at 76 yrs young, figured it was time. Open heart surgery, canser, 3 back surgerys, figured I needed a new hobby. So here I am. Since we go to Colorado every summer, and everyone but me has a Jeep, going to order my first one. Waiting on the '19's to order.
