Hi all, found this forum looking for some insights on my first Wrangler purchase... Great fourm and have already learned a lot from all the posts. I ordered my JLUS in late April and have been in "I" status for the last two weeks. I've had a Jeep of one configuration or another since 87.. Currently have an 09 Commander & 14 GC Summit. Not a hard core rock crawler but do like to hit the back roads here in centeral Colorado...

Hi All, My Name is Theresa Just received my 2018 JLU Sahara on 5/1.. Loving every min of it!!.
I have to say this is my 3rd Jeep and the difference between the JK and the JL are huge!! I also own a 2014 Wrangler Oscar Mike edition.. but my JL is my Fav by far!! Jeep really out did themselves with the redesign...

New member and first time owner of a Wrangler.
We ordered about 8 1/2 weeks ago and our Sahara was delivered to the dealership yesterday. We hope to have it delivered to us tomorrow.
It’s been built for a couple of weeks but was held up in delivery. I think we’re pretty lucky to be able to take possession this quickly.
I know nothing about Wranglers and I’m hoping this forum can help direct me.
So, here’s our newest addition just off the truck.

Hey all!

My name is Nate and I just purchased my first Wrangler and also my first brand new car. I had a Jeep Liberty back in college, my dad had an old XJ back in the 90’s, and my Mom has the current Cherokee as her daily driver.

I just moved from Brooklyn to Daytona Beach right in time for Jeep Beach which might have inspired me to buy my new JLU Sahara in Black with the matching black hardtop. I have a few cosmetic mods in the works, nothing major. I added the Mopar slush mats all around, the Bartact seat covers (front only so far), @Hothead Headliners on order.

Planning on keeping the AT tires for now (Sad I know), as I’m currently commuting to Orlando a couple times a week. 75miles each way and lots of phone calls.

This thing drives as well as any medium size SUV and I have to say, Jeep fever is upon me. I’m anxious to see the aftermarket evolve on this new JLU. I have a feeling this might be one of the best selling vehicles of all time and we’re going to have lots of JL company on the road.

Hey everyone! I'm Steven from Painted Post, NY. I've wanted a Wrangler since I was a teenager and I finally got my first in April! I've found some local Jeep clubs and have managed to put 4000 miles on it already. I need to slow down a bit. hahaha

These forums are fantastic and have provided me with a lot of information I need for future modifications. I've upgraded some cosmetic things (gas cap cover, new antenna, grab handles, mirrors for when I'm doorless, foot pegs, etc... My 33" Duratracs on 17" Fuel Vapor wheels will be here next week!

Hi, I’m Mark from Florida. The wife and I recently moved to Florida and needed a convertible. What better excuse to fulfill my Jeep craving! My Daughter and Son-in-law are a Jeep Family with four Jeeps. I’ll have to open up a garage of their builds!
The wife and I are very excited to get our Jeep Rubicon in Ocean Blue (it matches my Cobalt Blue Harley Ultra Glide). We ordered 5/21. I’ve gained a lot of info here that was very useful in deciding what to do with my Jeep build.

2018 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 6MT

Was a challenge finding a manual but my local dealer came through.. got it pretty loaded infotainment, LED, cold weather and active safety.

Dealer put on the mopar tow hitch and trailer connections, got the steel bumpers on order.

All in all really excited, loving this new JL. I loved my JK but I’m really impressed with the new JL.

Hi everyone. My name is Ari, I traded in my 2002 TJ on a Nissan Altima when my wife got pregnant with our first. After almost 8 years...I am back. Just ordered a JLU Rubicon in Ocean Blue and I am psyched. Would have preferred the stickshift, but my wife insisted on the automatic which will come in handy with all of our highway driving. Also, made it so I could get the 4cyl. Will post a picture when it finally arrives.

My old neighborhood was Bethpage, your JLUR won't disappoint.

Jackie checking in.... I’m new here but been lurking a couple weeks. I have had many jeeps over the years... my all time favorite was my 2006 rubicon. I regret selling that every day. I'm currently in a Overland and I do miss my wrangler days. I'm an old lady now so I'm on the fence about buying a jlu but I do like all of the new upgrades.

If you test drive a JLU (especially a rubicon) you will get one and keep it! Over 3000 miles and not one regret.

Hi everyone. My name is Raj and just got my JLU Sport S on 5/26. Already put 800 miles on it. Sure can feel a difference from my 2014 JK. It has Technology, tow and convinence packages. I would like to upgrade the Tires and put Mopar LED headlights.

the led lighting package is awesome.. i would do it for sure

Hi everyone! Just joined up after lurking around for a few weeks. I've been Jeepless for 10 years

Have previously owned several, my favs being the first, which was an 83 CJ-7, and the last, an 05 Rubicon. Still regret not hanging on to both of them, but life gets in the way (and my garage just isn't big enough!)

Looking forward to getting a new 2-door JL Rubicon, hopefully this summer!!!
